The main source of end-user documentation for TimeMap is our comprehensive TMJava User Manual, published Oct 2003 and updated with a supplement in Nov 2004. The manual is aimed at all levels of user, with complexity increasing from the introductory chapters through to more technical material. A typical page appears on the left. The manual includes extensive illustrations and example code.

Use of the TimeMap Windows toolkit TMWin to prepare data and maps for diplay in TMJava is explained in the TMWin for TMJava user manual published Jun 2005. You may also find additional useful information in the Data Tools section of this site.

The software has remained stable since the publication of these manuals, although many new functions have been added. Where new functions relate to MapSpace capabilities, these have been added to the TMWin map creation/publishing tool. We plan to publish another update of the TMJava manual in 2007.
