The core of the TimeMap community is provided by the primary development team in Sydney and Saratov, and members of the Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative at Berkeley and associated organisations. ECAI has developed training materials for TimeMapand stages training workshops, as well as assisting individual members with setting up applications.
The Sydney-based team of software and application developers can provide rapid response technical support to members of the TimeMap Open Source Community, including the development of new functions as part of the core software and custom development of specialised functions where necessary. We prefer to add generic functionality to the software rather than developing one-off solutions, so that all users can benefit.
As well as supporting Community members, we are happy to provide technical advice to non-members who are considering using TimeMap.
