To save an entire .tmm metadata file as a template, simply invoke that metadata file in the editor window, and then choose File > Save as Template or choose the Save as Template button from the toolbar.
This will invoke a dialogue which will ask you to specify a name and location for your template. Remember, if you want the template to appear in the Template Tree, you will need to save your template .tmm file to a location within the ../Resources/Templates directory structure.
Hint: If you want to save only a selection of the metadata on sceen as a template, select the elements you want to include by holding down the CTRL key while clicking on elements in the Worksheet, then follow through the Save As procedure above. The resulting template will contain only those elements you selected.
