TMGeoReg is an application designed to quickly generate worldfile metadata and allow easy integration of this data into .tmm metadata files in the Metadata Editor. It is a simplified version of the image registration dialogues that GIS users will already be familiar with.
Currently, TMGeoReg only allows the correct registration of unprojected (lat/long) images. Users can, of course, register images of maps in different projections (e.g. a scan of an azimuthal equidistant map of the North Pole), but the features on these maps will not line up precisely with vector data in the TMViewers.
